I am 61 years old and a widow since 2008. I had been designing skin themes for over 4 years prior to my husband passing away providing designs for just the Free platform forums and doing it was a pasttime that I enjoyed until my husband became very ill. When my husband passed away, I returned to designing to keep my mind occupied and not on the pain, which helped me healed. It gave me something to look forward to each new day instead of emptiness. After many problems using a free forum software I decided to purchase IP2.3 and doing so I had to learn how to design for my own board. Once proficient enough I expanded and began offering my designs free on my new purchased board and combined IP2X with the free platform skin themes. When the upgrade for 3X became available I decided to upgrade and again I had to learn to design for my board. In the process I continued to offer all designs for the free platforms as well as the IP2.3. Once I became profient enough I started offering basic 3X designs.
I decided to expand and separate my forum into 2 forums one for the free platforms and the IP Board themes which I did and GMM IP3 SKIN THEMES was formed offering only the IP 2X and 3X designs. Now I offer a variety of skin themes, series of skin themes, offer custom design, conversion and a shop.
I will continue to strive and learn any and all new aspects of designing as long as I can. Yes, I know some say at my age I should be sitting in a rocking chair and knitting, but not me, I tackle many things that many seniors citzens wouldn't even attempt, I guess thats how I stay young of mind, even tho sometimes the body doesn't want to cooperate.
